What did you enjoy most about this experience?

Being a part of a solid group of great people who pushed me to be my best and a compassionate faculty.

What made you decide to attend the MPP program at Del Val?

When I visited DelVal I met with the professors and faculty. This showed me how passionate they were in ensuring I gained a good education that would prepare me for the next step in my life. I knew that having a passionate faculty focused on the students was very important to me.

Has your career path inspired you to pursue further education? Or are you currently working in your desired field?

My career path has inspired me to continue my education so that I have the best opportunities to fulfill my desired career. After graduating with my undergraduate degree I realized that furthering my degree would open the right doors for me.

What do you plan to do after Del Val and/or what would be your ideal job?

After graduation from DelVal I plan to move wither back to Texas or stay near Philadelphia and work as a policy analyst focusing on educational policy. Working for the government, non-profits or a think tank.

Best part of graduate school so far:

So far, the best part of graduate school has to be my fellow students. Getting to form bonds and friendships with these great people has been a highlight! Also, the willingness of professors to help students in and out of the classroom.

What are some of your hobbies/what do you like to do for fun outside of school?

For fun I play soccer in an adult league in Doylestown, I love exploring state parks and driving into NYC, Philly and Boston. Being from Texas there is so much to explore and the are is beautiful! Also, playing in the snow is one of my favorite activities.

What is your favorite vegetable to eat or grow?

My favorite vegetable to eat is hands down cucumbers!
